A day in the life of a wedding planner

So you may be curious on how I typically spend my day as a wedding planner in Malta. On a general note, it can be fruitful, entertaining, and challenging at the same time.

Each wedding represents a different story and different people, and nothing can prepare you for the next wedding, although previous experience definitely helps. Since I am a destination wedding planner, I am lucky enough to correspond with people from all over the planet, something which I consider a privilege as this allows me to venture into new cultures and learn different traditions that apply to weddings in different countries. I am always looking out for new trends whilst still always looking to create new trends myself.

My Typical Day

So, to my day: Well, basically my alarm is set for 6.00 am, I have a quick coffee, and all queries made the night before are answered to everyone's expectations. Experience has taught me that couples will be very stressed during the planning stage of their wedding, so my belief is that prompt answers will help to ease the stress of it all, one message at a time. Following that, I usually take my dog, Pippa, for a walk on the beach and for some fresh air to take a breather and then again back to my work, which may include meetings, food tastings, rehearsals, the lot!

Although I have an office at Attard, Malta, I tend to work mostly from home and meet couples in a nice comfy place like a hotel lobby. Once a wedding is planned, an internal meeting is held with the Jewelweddings team that will accompany me on the day of the wedding, comprising of the superstars David, Adrian and Diane. Our mission is to always ensure that our clients’ needs and expectations and handled to the tee!

 A bit more about me!

As regards my hobbies; I love traveling, learning about different cultures, swimming, walking my dog and watching a good Netflix series. I am stickler for romantic movies like the notebook and Titanic which I have watched from scratch hundreds of times. Funnily enough, I also love The Godfather!

My favourite singer is Celine Dion

My Favourite Car is my Audi.

Love my family to bits.
